These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Theralyft platform ("Platform"), operated by Theralyft ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Theralyft is a marketplace that connects clients seeking mental health support with independent, licensed therapists. We facilitate the connection, scheduling, secure communication, and payment between clients and therapists. We do not employ therapists and are not a healthcare provider.
Emergency Notice
Theralyft is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, call 911 or your local emergency number, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (US) immediately.
Payments are processed through Stripe. The Platform retains a 10% platform fee; therapists receive 90% of session fees. All fees are displayed before payment is confirmed. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@theralyft.com within 48 hours of a session for refund requests.
Therapists act as independent data controllers for their client relationships. By using the Platform, therapists agree to our Data Processing Agreement, which governs how we process client data on their behalf. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
Either party may terminate their account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice where required for safety. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy retention schedule.
The Platform is provided "as is". We do not warrant that therapy services provided by therapists on the Platform will achieve any particular outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent therapists using the Platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of our registered entity. Where local mandatory consumer protection laws apply (including in the EU, UK, Australia, and Zambia), those rights are preserved and not limited by these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
